The damage deposit should be a separate cheque, and this will be returned un-cashed one week after your return to your home address, subject to there being no damage, loss or issues of cleanliness in the property.

“Li-say”   -   Booking Terms and Conditions

  1.  This form sets out the terms and conditions of your booking with Mrs E Pearson (‘the Owner’) of the gite and     grounds (the Property). It forms a contract between all persons listed on the booking form/staying in the gite (‘You’) and the Owner.

  2. Please make payments by cheque to Mrs E Pearson.

  1. The Owner reserves the right to refuse/cancel bookings (in which unlikely event, compensation would be limited to a full refund of any monies paid by You to the Owner.

  1. The owner regrets that no bookings can be taken for more than 6 people   or people who wish to bring pets. Please note that smoking is not allowed inside the gite

  1. A non-refundable deposit of 25% (of the cost of the hire), is payable upon booking. All bookings will be held provisionally for 7 days pending the deposit, after which time the booking will lapse.

  1. Final payment must reach the owner no later than 6 weeks before your departure date. Failure to pay may be deemed as a breach of contract and may result in the loss of the holiday. The final balance will still remain due.

  1. A security deposit of £100 will be required. This should be paid with the final payment (see point 6) and will be refunded (subject to there being no damage, loss or issues of cleanliness in the Property), once you have returned to the UK.

  1. You accept responsibility for the gite during your stay. You must keep all the furniture, fittings and effects (inside and outside the Property) in the same state of repair and condition as at the start of your holiday. You must leave the property in the same state of cleanliness and general order in which You found it. Any damage or loss must be reported to the Owner.

  1. In the event of irresponsible, loud, aggressive, rude or dangerous behaviour or abuse of the property, the Owner has the right to refuse You access to the property and/or terminate your holiday immediately. In such an event, You would not be entitled to any refund.

  1. In the event of any dispute, the Owner’s decision is final.

  1. You are responsible for ensuring that You have passports, insurance and for your own travel arrangements. No refund can be made in the event that You are unable to travel or unable to make use of the gite.

  1. You are responsible for ensuring the gite meets your needs. The Owner has taken great care to ensure the accuracy of the details sent to You, however, they cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions. You accept that, due to circumstances beyond their control, not all facilities listed may be available. A small charge is payable locally for the use of the washing machine, telephone, bicycles and for Winter fuel (1st September to 30th April).

  1. You accept responsibility for your actions during your stay and accept that no compensation would be payable in any event, by the Owner.

  1. You cannot transfer your Booking to another person, sub-let the gite, or stay before/beyond the period noted on your booking form without the Owner’s permission. Only those listed on the Booking Form may stay at the gite.

  1. Bookings are made subject to the details and dates listed on your Booking Form. The gite will normally be available from 4.00pm on the day of arrival, however you are welcome to arrive prior to this time and relax in the garden/use the pool. Latest departure time is 10.00am.

  1. Once You have 1) paid a deposit and/or 2) signed and returned the Booking Form, You are deemed to have accepted the Booking Terms and Conditions and You may not cancel.
